This selection of sourdough crispbread is inspired by Peter´s Yard´s love of Sweden, the home of crispbread. They use simple, natural ingredients including organic flour, organic fresh milk and their precious sourdough, which is allowed to ferment for 16 hours before each batch is made. Baked until perfectly crisp, they are the natural choice for a well-balanced cheese board.
Spelt & Poppy Seed complements the flavour of a mild crumbly cheese like Caerphilly while Charcoal & Rye pairs beautifully with soft cheeses such as goat’s cheese or a ripe Brie. Our Original recipe is the perfect partner for any cheese. The Great Taste Award judges awarded it 3 stars and described it as “the best biscuit for cheese out there”.

Peter´s Yard was founded by two English friends, Ian and Wendy, who while in Sweden fell in love with the most delicious crispbread they had ever eaten. Peter Ljungquist was the Swede behind these stunning crispbreads and his vision was to revive traditional baking methods and recipes whilst turning away from commercial yeast and returning to slower, more rewarding sourdough techniques. Wendy and Ian brought this wonderful concept from a small Swedish Bakery to the UK. The business has since won numerous awards and is made in an artisan bakery in the UK following the original Swedish recipe. They use natural, high quality ingredients including organic flour, organic fresh milk and sourdough.
